Abstract: A temporary exhibition in the Universal Design Living Lab to illustrate some results of research in the framework of an IWT-VIS-project "Groen Licht Vlaanderen 2020" (i.e., the Flemish government funded research project "Green Light Flanders 2020"). One of the work packages in this large-scale project involves fundamental and applied research on how lighting and lighting design can support a diverse range of people to navigate more safely and more easily through the built environment. The exhibition includes information (posters, presentations) and artifacts showcasing fundamental principles and lighting solutions that were designed or investigated in the project.

Research Context: This exhibition showcases some results of research performed in the IWT-VIS research project “Groen Licht Vlaanderen 2020”, a large-scale project involving a.o. the Laboratory for Lighting technology (KULeuven), WTCB and research group ArcK-Designing for More (Hasselt University). For ArcK, this project involves designing and/or testing lighting solutions and investigating how these can be used to support people in their use of the built environment. Members of ArcK organised and designed the exhibition and produced some of the designed artefacts that are displayed.
