Abstract: This master thesis investigates the effects that changes in foreign exchange rates can have on Belgian firms. This entails an empirical study of the foreign exchange exposure of these firms, as well as an in depth investigation regarding the firm-specific variables that might explain the variation in exposure among these companies.
