Title: | The comparison of two-dimensional measured frontal and sagittal plane kinematics between injured and non-injured recreational runners | Authors: | Benoit, Anke Janssen, Tessa |
Advisors: | DINGENEN, Bart | Issue Date: | 2018 | Publisher: | UHasselt | Abstract: | This master thesis part 2 is the continuation of master thesis part 1, wherein a literature search was conducted to see whether differences exist in 3D kinematics between healthy and injured runners. The results of this literature search were inconsistent, most likely due to procedural differences among the included studies. Master thesis part 2 investigates whether two-dimensional (2D) motion analysis, a less expensive and reliable clinical alternative, is able to detect differences in running kinematics. More precisely, the frontal anterior and sagittal plane kinematics were analysed in healthy and injured recreational runners.
