dc.description.abstract | Thanks to the development of new technological advancements in global positioning, digital mapping, computing power, sensor systems and artificial intelligence driverless cars have become a reality. The big players of this success are not only cars' manufacturers but also IT companies like Google, Apple and mobility providers like Uber and Lyft. These companies combined their knowledge and resources in order to develop this new generation of cars. Driverless cars are really different that what we had until now on our roads and they will revolutionize our lives and our way of moving. Traditional car manufacturers have therefore to rethink their strategy, position and business model in order to follow this new trend. | - |
