Abstract: Objectives: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of 12 weeks oral beta-alanine supplementation on exercise capacity in patients with COPD. Results: The similarity of the two groups was high at the start of the study after analyzing the baseline characteristics. Except for the Borg fatigue of the IECT (p<0.05), all the other variables were not significantly different from each other. There was no interaction effect between groups over time for all primary and secondary outcomes.
