dc.description.abstract | De toenemende urbanisatie zorgt ervoor dat steden steeds drukker worden. Bijgevolg zijn er meer en meer goederenstromen nodig in stadscentra aangezien handelaars en consumenten respectievelijk goederen nodig hebben om te verkopen en om hun vraag te kunnen bevredigen. Traditionele transportmiddelen, zoals bestelwagens, zorgen voor heel wat negatieve effecten in steden zoals onder andere congestie, schadelijke uitlaatgassen en geluidsoverlast. De focus van deze masterproef ligt daardoor op de cargo bike als alternatief distributiemiddel om goederen te transporteren richting de binnenstad. | - |
