Title: Silver Triennial Hanau
Contributors/Performers: HUYCKE, David
Issue Date: 2019
Abstract: The 19th Silver Triennial provides a review of the current international silver scene. The exhibition and competition is organised by the Society for Goldsmiths’ Art in collaboration with the City of Hanau (D), which invited internationally renowned silversmiths and metal designers as well as emergent up-and-coming artists to participate in the competition. The diverse repertoire of silver everyday implements such as tea-, water- and coffee pots, bowls, cutlery, candlesticks and jars, as well as abstract objects is exemplary of twenty-first-century silversmithing. David Huycke is represented in this exhibition with his object Dark Moon, 2019, black silver, 28 cm x 28 cm
