Abstract: All motor interventions, except dance therapy, had a significant effect on one outcome measure related to gait stability. Treadmill training had a moderate level of evidence to improve gait stability and had the largest effects on walking speed and GMFM-88 dimension E. The included outcome measures focused more on gait performance than gait stability specifically. Further research on the effects of motor interventions on specific outcome measures and the comparison with a standard control intervention is recommended.
