Abstract: This study is situated within the research domain of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and within this domain focuses on the rehabilitation of the subacromial pain syndrome. We investigated the association between biopsychosocial factors and QoL in persons with SAPS, and explored if the identified factors related to QoL differ from those related to disability. The findings of this study suggest that lower levels of depression were associated with a higher QoL. The factors related to disability were different from those related to QoL, as higher self-efficacy and lower pain-related fear of movement were associated with less disability.
