If we look at historical objects whose bearers have long been forgotten, there is always some room for interpretation. The true function of the things is lost and even if the objects still carry memories, it is impossible for us to decipher them all. Negating or emphasizing certain elements can distort our vision. So far, all objects in this series are based on 3D scans of objects from the collection of the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum (Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim) in Germany. | Impact Description: | 3 of the rings were displayed within the exhibition 'SIGNS, SIGNALS, + SYMBOLS' at the Baltimore Jewelry Center from December 02, 2022 until February 10, 2023. They were also presented in an online panel discussion (in the context of the exhibition) on February 9, 2023.
