Research Context: The Olfabet concept, design and realization is done by olfactory artist dr. Peter de Cupere who’s doing research at the PXL MAD Research group Manufracture in Hasselt, Belgium in how to use smell in combination with 3D printing and scented polymers.
Impact Description: In reply to the call for entries for the international contest New Technological Art Award (NTAA) 2022, 836 candidates representing 72 nationalities worldwide have applied. Out of these projects, an international jury has selected 20 nominees. Being already one of these nominees is an award on its own. Being selected as award winner by the public and receiving the Public Art Award proofs the innovative aspect of the Olfabet and the believe in its possibilities.
