Research Context: This lecture was built around several key topics (hence 'glossary') from my postdoctoral research (such as AI, co-creation, digital culture, embodiment…). I presented the research, shared insights, findings, and projects, and brought various viewpoints and references into relation, creatively weaving a conceptual landscape. Furthermore, I launched a new participatory project during this event, invited the audience to take part, and, together with students PXL-MAD and research interns Senneke Van de Wygaert and Esther Verstreken made photos of the jewellery the audience was wearing, with the aim of creating a dataset for our current artistic project 'Ornamisms'. The 'Schmucksymposium' is an annual event (ongoing since 2002) and important within the domain of contemporary jewellery. I am happy and grateful to have been able to share the research during this conference.
