| arts.review.researchContext | The rings shown here, were made in such a way that there is a deliberate flaw built into the manufacturing process, and so (despite semi-industrial production), each (re)production will look different. This allows for the creation of a mass-produced product that is nevertheless individual and therefore provides the perfect basis for individual memories to be projected on it. Within my research, the work falls into the category of objects that reflect on the relationship between jewellery, identity and memory. It is linked to the category of visualisation of memory-related deviation. | - |
