Title: Sources of Belonging
Contributors/Performers: KONSCHAKE, Maria
Issue Date: 2023

Discipline: beeldende kunsten
Research Context: The objects are designed through digital intersections between historical treasures from museum collections (from the Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim, Germany), flea market finds, and personal pieces. Within my research, the work falls into the category of objects that reflect on the relationship between jewellery, identity and memory. It is an artificial visualisation of memory-related deviation and not based on it.
Impact Description: First results were displayed during the exhibition "MIDTERM" at MAD Gallery of PXL-MAD School of Arts Hasselt (BE) in September 2023 and in the exhibition "Dream Machine" (during New York Jewelry Week 2023) at the Pratt Institute Steuben Gallery, New York City (US) in November 2023.
