First Theoretical Aid, curated by Elena Karpilova, was "an experiment in one-on-one consultations for jewellers facing professional challenges. Each jeweller could choose a “specialist” for their session — from a “plastic surgeon” to a “radical listener”. In simple terms, some experts were better suited to advise on promotion opportunities, while others could help refine an artist statement, for example" (as Karpilova introduced the project). I participated as "Dr. Swillen, A. Speculative Surgeon and Practitioner of Entangled Bodies, Relational Technologies, Co-Creative Worlding, Posthuman Phenomena, and other Emergencies. Consultations and Prescriptions from an Apothecary of Symbiotic Futures for all you-we-llery-lated, blood, sweat, tears, and feverdreams." | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/49086 | Link to publication/dataset: | https://www.instagram.com/p/DU_JQsIjRz_/?hl=en&img_index=1 | Discipline: | multidisciplinair | Research Context: | An experiment in collaborative, reflexive, and critical dialogue as part of the contemporary jewellery discourse development. | Related Info: | Munich Jewellery Week The project was hosted in the Recover exhibition, curated by Jana Brevick, Franziska Langheinrich, and Theresa Wingert (https://munichjewelleryweek.com/events/recover) |
