Title: | 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy as a tool to probe the microstructures of different types of poly(vinyl formal) | Authors: | POLLERS, Ingrid ADRIAENSENS, Peter CARLEER, Robert VANDERZANDE, Dirk GELAN, Jan |
Issue Date: | 1996 | Publisher: | American Chemical Society | Source: | Macromolecules, 29(18). p. 5875-5881 | Abstract: | 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy has been used to analyze the stereosequence and the comonomer sequence microstructure in poly(vinyl formal) (PVF). The preparation method employed clearly has an effect on the functional group distribution. The results reveal that the heterogeneous modification method shows evidence for a blocky distribution of functional groups whereas samples prepared by the precipitation method exhibit a random distribution. | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/5545 | DOI: | 10.1021/ma9604855 | Type: | Journal Contribution |
