Abstract

The focus is the colouring of our cities. The first part of this book deals with different attitudes and values of the different cultural-ethnic minorities in the citye. The first question then is related with the image different ethnic groups develop from each other. The second one concerns the amount of social capital different groups create in a city. Thirdly, we discuss different value patterns. The second part examines to what extent cities adopt to socio-demographic transformations among the population and possible results in terms of more or less trust for local government.
