| dc.description.abstract | This report deals with road safety performance indicators. Three main objectives are postulated. First, to introduce the concept of road safety performance indicators. This involves summarising essential information on indicators in general and road safety performance indicators in particular. Second, to develop a set of (best needed and best available) safety performance indicators. The selection of these indicators results from the elaboration of the theoretical framework. Third, to describe the methodology behind the creation of an overall road safety index in which all indicator information is combined. | - |
