Abstract: You have wanted to learn German for ages? But it has always kept lingering in your mind because you never had the time to do it? You are looking for a learning method which allows you to learn fast and efficiently how to communicate in business situations. The electronic module of apprenticeship and testing “Alltägliche Geschäftskommunikation” can be helpful for you. Thanks to a well-considered didactic method you learn how to communicate properly in German with authentic dialogues. Communicative skills work together with grammatical correctness. The logical construction of this user-friendly module gives you the opportunity to have your individual track, precisely what you need: real dialogues taken out of the current (business) life based on communication exercises. For each exercise you receive a constructive feedback on your mistakes. Should this feedback not be complete enough, then you get a recapitulation of the grammar rule you have not mastered yet. Or you want to get the hang of the heavy German grammar first; test yourself on it after having learnt the theory and then assess your communicative skills? Or you would like to compare your pronunciation with a model-speaker? Or you would like to search for a word in the e-dictionary via a special system? All these different approaches are provided, according to your personal needs and learn-style. And all of this only in one module. This module is developed by the Centre Applied Linguistics of the Hasselt University and is based on a European Union study. This study is not only based on the sector or the function but on the problems that can occur in European companies because of languages, especially for SME.
