Abstract: This article reports an explorative survey about blended learning in Belgian and Dutch organisations. The survey results show that blended learning's popularity is increasing in most of the respondents' organisations. Furthermore, the survey presents the most important benefits and challenges of blended learning perceived by 54 blended learning professionals. In addition to this, the survey results contain predictions on the future state of blended learning environments in terms of instructional strategies and technologies.
