In Persons with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS), grip strength is one of the predictive factors in the functional use of the hand. Besides strength, also the ability to perform repeated and sustained muscle contractions is important for functionality in daily life. It is unclear whether motor fatigue or fatigability is more prominent in PwMS than in healthy persons. With this study we aimed to investigate the relationship between maximal hand grip strength and fatigability in PwMS and the difference in fatigability during both sustained and repeated maximal hand grip contractions in PwMS compared to healthy persons.-
