The aim of the study therefore is to find an analytical expression for this correlation, from where the first derivative may be calculated. Especially the visualisation of the rate of change of the D.I.P. flexion versus P.I.P. flexion provides an additional and clear-cut discriminatory tool between normal and pathological states of the finger. | Keywords: | distal interphalangeal joint; proximal interphalangeal joint; kinematical model of finger flexion; D.I.P. – P.I.P. flexion interdependence; intrinsic-minus fingers | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/15857 | Link to publication/dataset: | http://leidykla.vgtu.lt/en/knyga/conferences/2529.html?Itemid=4 | ISBN: | 978-609-457-548-8 | DOI: | 10.3846/2164-M | Rights: | © Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, 2013 | Category: | B2 | Type: | Book Section |
