Abstract: During this lecture/performance we mapped the role of the designer using Map-it/Cartographier le rôle du designer en utilisant Map-it. When design projects involve complex social issues and participatory processes, designers may feel uncertain about their roles (designer, moderator or participant), actions and designs. MAP-it supports designers in handling this uncertainty via offering them a toolkit to give form to complex design projects with a diverse group of participants.
