This strain shows 2,2-bis(p-chlorophenyl)-1,1-dichloroethylene (DDE)-degrading potential and plant growth-promoting capacities. Analyses of its 6.8-Mb genome will improve our understanding of DDE-degradation pathways and aid in the deployment of phytoremediation technologies to remediate DDE-contaminated soils. | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/21344 | ISSN: | 2169-8287 | DOI: | 10.1128/genomeA.00488-15 | Rights: | Copyright © 2015 Eevers et al.
