Abstract: High molecular weight Poly(2,5-thienylene vinylene) derivatives were prepared by use of two precursor routes: the "Sulphinyl route" developed within our group and the "Bis-xanthate route". These polymers were tested in organic metal-insulator-semiconductor field-effect transistors MISFET structures. The results are discussed.
