Title: | Synthesis of blue light-emitting poly(p-arylene vinylene) derivative starting from new soluble polymeric precursors | Authors: | LUTSEN, Laurence DUYSSENS, Iris PENXTEN, Huguette VANDERZANDE, Dirk |
Issue Date: | 2003 | Publisher: | ELSEVIER SCIENCE SA | Source: | SYNTHETIC METALS, 139(3). p. 589-592 | Abstract: | Blue light-emitting poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives were prepared by use of the precursor "sulphinyl route" developed within our group a few years ago. These polymers have a maximum PL absorption at 447 or 468 nm depending on the film preparation. These polymers were tested in light-emitting diodes. The results are discussed.
