Conservative and optimistic models were proposed in the domain of distributed and parallel simulations. However, the SARL agent-programming language is not equipped with specific simulation features, including synchronization mechanisms. The goal of this paper is to propose a conservative synchronization model for the SARL language and its run-time platform Janus. | Notes: | Cich, G (reprint author), Hasselt Univ, Transportat Res Inst IMOB, Agoralaan, B-3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium. glenn.cich@uhasselt.be | Keywords: | multi-agent simulation; conservative event synchronization; SARL agent programming language; Janus platform | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/24098 | ISBN: | 9783319599298 | DOI: | 10.1007/978-3-319-59930-4_3 | ISI #: | 000434609600003 | Category: | C1 | Type: | Proceedings Paper | Validations: | ecoom 2019 |
