Fast and accurate detection of specific cells is of great importance for medical diagnostics as well as food safety controls. By performing a thermal readout on a surface imprinted polymer (SIP), cells can be detected in a label-free manner. In this work, undesired thermal barriers have been removed by changing the sensor design, as well as the imprinting procedure.-
