Issue Date: | 2001 | Publisher: | WILEY-V C H VERLAG GMBH | Source: | MACROMOLECULAR CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS, 202(2). p. 343-353 | Abstract: | A series of precursor polymers towards poly(p-phenylene vinylene) is analyzed by different complementary NMR techniques. Resonance assignments were achieved by the use of one- and two-dimensional NMR techniques, such as H-1, C-13, APT, 2D-HETCOR, FLOCK, COSY and INADEQUATE. The series consists of the sulfinyl precursor poly[p-phenylene(1-butylsulfinyl)ethylene] and the derived sulfanyl (poly[p-phenylene(1-butylsulfanyl)ethylene] and sulfonyl derivative (poly[p-phenylene(1-butylsulfonyl)ethylene]). Chiral induction during polymerization of sulfinyl monomers was quantified by high resolution C-13 NMR. | Notes: | Univ Limburg, Inst Mat Res, Dept SBG, Div Chem, B-3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium.Gelan, JMJV, Univ Limburg, Inst Mat Res, Dept SBG, Div Chem, Univ Campus Gebouw D, B-3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium. | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/2767 | ISSN: | 1022-1352 | e-ISSN: | 1521-3935 | ISI #: | 000167031200017 | Category: | A1 | Type: | Journal Contribution | Validations: | ecoom 2002 |
