Issue Date: | 2005 | Publisher: | SPRINGER-VERLAG BERLIN | Source: | WEB ENGINEERING. p. 197-202 | Series/Report: | LECTURE NOTES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE | Series/Report no.: | 3579 | Abstract: | In this paper we show an approach that allows web interfaces to be dynamically distributed among several interconnected heterogeneous devices in an environment to support the tasks and activities the user performs. The approach uses a light-weight HTTP-based daemon as a distribution manager and RelaxNG schemas to describe the service user interfaces offered by native applications. From these service descriptions, the XHTML-based user interface is generated. | Notes: | Hasselt Univ, Expertise Ctr Digital Media, B-3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium.Vandervelpen, C, Hasselt Univ, Expertise Ctr Digital Media, Gebouw D, B-3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium.chris.vandervelpen@uhasselt.be geert.vanderhulst@student.uhasselt.be kris.luyten@uhasselt.be karin.coninx@uhasselt.be | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/2807 | ISBN: | 978-3-540-27996-9 | ISSN: | 0302-9743 | DOI: | 10.1007/11531371_28 | ISI #: | 000231171300024 | Category: | A1 | Type: | Journal Contribution | Validations: | ecoom 2006 |
