dc.description.abstract | This dissertation studies the effects of work-home practices (i.e., HR-practices that can facilitate employees’ work-home combination), in particular home-based telework and part-time work, on employee wellbeing and performance outcomes, in particular work-home conflict, stress, work engagement and job performance. Despite the growing prevalence of these practices in organizations, studies to date show mixed results and no consensus exists on whether the use of these practices really improves employee outcomes. This dissertation addresses some important theoretical and methodological factors that may explain these inconsistencies. | - |
