dc.description.abstract | Stretchable electronics have been making progress in photodetectors, temperature sensors and pressure sensors. Electronically conducting polymers such as water dispersible forms of PEDOT:PSS consisting of intrinsically conducting PEDOT poly(3-4 ethylene dioxythiophene) doped with PSS (polystyrene sulfonate) show high potential due to their good water dispersibility, miscibility, transparency, flexibility and stretchability. To prepare these sensors, drop on demand ( inkjet printing can be applied DoD inkjet printing can fabricate circuits with high resolution 20 μm line width), is easy to use and cost effective. However, ink formulation is complicated and the property window for jettability is small Therefore all parameters i a viscosity, surface tension, density) need to be optimized when formulating a functional ink. | - |
