Abstract: The authors regret that the following sentence in this article was incorrect, “For additional resistance determination, multiple variable probes were applied, not only for macrolide resistance-associated mutations (A2058G, A2059G and A2098C and others in region V of the 23S rRNA gene) but also probes to confirm wild-type strains [9]’’. The text “(A2058G, A2059G and A2098C and others in region V of the 23S rRNA gene)’’ should have read “(A2058G, A2059G and A2058C and others in region V of the 23S rRNA gene)’’. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
