dc.description.abstract | Microgrids are an aggregation concept with the participation of both supply-side and demand-side resources in low-voltage grids. Due to their characteristics and complexity, decision support systems are required for their control and operation. In this paper, a study of recent applications of multi-agent-based decision support systems to operate the microgrids is presented. From the survey material, we concluded that there is a need for interdisciplinary research concerning architecture, frameworks, and software tools required to exploit the full potential of these techniques in microgrids. | - |
