Abstract: Institutional readiness in Research Data Management (RDM) services and infrastructure is an important prerequisite for today’s increasingly digitally connected scientific domains. The Research Infrastructure Self-Evaluation Framework (RISE) is a tool to facilitate strategy processes for RDM-support development. Published in 2017 by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), RISE has been picked up by institutions in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, among others.
