Artful metaphors.

No longer accustomed to commissions, eight young contemporary artists embarked on an apparent inversion: they asked seven homeless people to be for them what once were the Princes or the powerful of the earth, that is, the prime mover of the work. These clients have given them a sensitive gift, the intimate confidence of the preference of a taste; it is true, in fact, that you only take up residence in what you like most, a sound, a perfume, a tactile sensation, and that often, as Proust and Baudelaire teach us, these synesthetic pleasures are connected to the identification of the deepest self.
