This PhD dissertation takes place within the realm of family businesses and entrepreneurship, aiming to address critical gaps in the field by examining the key research question: “What is the impact of entrepreneurial passion within the context of family firms?”. Table 1 shows the details of each research question, their theoretical underpinnings, and the data sources that were used. By examining the interplay between passion, family dynamics, and organizational outcomes, we aim to uncover new insights that can inform theory, practice, and policy in the field of entrepreneurship. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we seek to shed light on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by passionate entrepreneurs in family business settings, paving the way for future research and innovation in this critical area.-
