Issue Date: | 2024 | Publisher: | OXFORD UNIV PRESS | Source: | European heart journal, 45 (S1) (Art N° ehae666502) | Abstract: | Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common, yet underdiagnosed risk factor in atrial fibrillation (AF) patients. Polysomnography (PSG) is the gold standard for OSA diagnosis but is also costly, time-consuming, and labor-intensive. (Cardio)-respiratory polygraphy (PG) offers an ambulatory screening for OSA detection. Studying the impact of OSA diagnosis and treatment on AF recurrence will require scalable tools for semi-continuous heart rhythm monitoring. | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/44775 | ISSN: | 0195-668X | e-ISSN: | 1522-9645 | DOI: | 10.1093/eurheartj/ehae666.502 | ISI #: | 001345270200020 | Category: | M | Type: | Journal Contribution |
