Abstract: Introduction: The need for equitable access to specialist wound management nurses and building of capacity in the aged care work force was the impetus for a project that sought to innovate the care provided to residents of aged care who have or are at risk of pressure injuries. The project included the design and evaluation of a remote expert wound nurse consultation intervention.
