Abstract: The normal evolution of bone scintigraphy tracer uptake after trapeziometacarpal total joint arthroplasty is unknown. We assessed the scintigraphic appearance of 111 uncemented implants after surgery and normalization of tracer uptake can be expected after 2 years.Level of evidence: IV
