This seminar on AI and Artistic Practice provides a comprehensive introduction to AI and Machine Learning in the arts. It features presentations of contemporary artists who are working with AI, along with an exploration of the potential and challenges of integrating AI into artistic practice. Various AI technologies are introduced, along with reflections and discussions on critical awareness and the ethical debates surrounding AI in the arts. The first part of the seminar focuses primarily on literature and case studies, along with critical and imaginative questions, followed by a hands-on experimentation session. Students have the opportunity to explore different AI technologies for various phases of their design process, including ideation and visualisation. As part of this seminar, I also gave a lecture on my research in the arts, introducing a selection of Artificial Intelligems projects.-
