Abstract: Preventive cardiology stands at a defining moment. Scientific progress has delivered robust evidence, practical guidelines, and innovative tools for preventing cardiovascular disease (CVD). Yet, despite this knowledge , CVD remains the leading cause of death globally. What limits progress today is not a lack of evidence but a failure to implement it effectively and equitably across the world. To address this gap, the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology (EJPC) proudly introduces a new section: PreventAble. This initiative aims to be more than a publication-it will serve as a catalyst for global collaboration, a source of shared experiences, and a forum to learn from real-world implementation of preventive cardiology. The name itself reflects our conviction: cardiovascular disease is preventable .
