Mechanical induction, using a single or double cervical balloon, has shown comparable effectiveness to pharmacological methods while reducing foetal distress due to hyperstimulation. Therefore, mechanical labour induction is a promising option for outpatient management. We aim to compare clinical outcomes and maternal satisfaction following induction of labour (IOL) using a cervical double-balloon in an outpatient versus inpatient setting. | Keywords: | Labor induction;Balloon;Double balloon;Cervical ripening;Outpatient induction | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/49331 | ISSN: | 0301-2115 | e-ISSN: | 1872-7654 | DOI: | 10.1016/j.ejogrb.2025.114771 | ISI #: | 001599846400001 | Rights: | 2025 Elsevier B.V.
