Technological advancements have revolutionised note-taking methods in education from analogue to digital, with actions like typing, swiping, clicking, and utilising speech-to-text or artificial intelligence tools for speech transcription and translation. Traditional handwriting skills are therefore declining, potentially leading to its neglect. This shift prompts consideration of the consequences of diminishing handwriting skills, attributed to the rise of digital devices and various writing tools. This article aims to explore the importance of maintaining thorough writing practices with children in primary education amidst all positive and effective technological advancements.-
