Abstract:	The 1st International Symposium on the Applications of Constraint Databases (CDB'04) was held on June 12-13, 2004, just before the ACM SIGMOD and PODS conferences, in the Amphithéatre de Chimie of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. We acted as program committee chairs and Irène Guessarian and Patrick Cégielski as local organization chairs.
