Individualized Robot-Assisted Training for Multiple Sclerosis- and Stroke Patients in I-TRAVLE, EDP Sciences,p. 1-4 (Art N° 00069) | Series/Report: | BIO Web of Conferences | Abstract: | Persons with central nervous deficits, such as MS and stroke patients, can benefit a lot from suitable training approaches that enhance their ability to perform activities in daily life. Personalized training, in accordance with the individual capabilities of the patient is a key issue in this context. We propose several techniques for individualization, including adaptive training games. Evaluations with patients and therapists reveal appreciation for the resulting Individualized, Technology-supported and Robot- Assisted Virtual Learning Environments (I-TRAVLE system). | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/13019 | DOI: | 10.1051/bioconf/20110100069 | Rights: | Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2011.
