dc.description.abstract | Microelectrode arrays systems are mainly used for fabrication Electromyography devices to electrical stimulating and recording of nerve cells in neuronal diseases of muscles. Polyimide (PI) has been reported for its successful use as neural devices, benefiting from its mechanical flexibility and biocompatibility. In this project, flexible Boron-doped Nano Crystalline Diamond (BNCD) electrodes insulated by polyimide in combination with metals such as Gold which are used as conductive sites are designed and successfully fabricated for Electromyography devices. We hypothesized that these devices are significantly reduced damaging of tissue and nerve cells at neural interfaces for driving human prosthetics. | - |
