Abstract: This paper proposes improvements on an existing implementation of 360-degrees panoramic view stitching with static cameras by Huang et al. (2014). Seam stitching and performance are the main focus. Dynamic seam stitching is implemented using last-frame difference (LFD) and dynamic programming to detect moving objects. Brightness correction and blending are also improved. Furthermore, performance is increased to reach a FPS of 33 over the original 15, while maintaining identical quality.
