Issue Date: | 2017 | Abstract: | To make, make, make you is to know, know, know you! is a panel discussion during the conference Making OUT Melbourne/ Radiant Pavilion. Panel discussion with David Huycke, Yhonnie Scarce and convened by Prof Michael Trudgeon. Making OUT is a forum that reflects on the role of making across disciplines through a program of presentations, conversations and panel discussions. The event aims to initiate a dialogue around diverse perspectives on making – as a way of thinking that contributes to ideas; as something that informs and improves how we live; and as an integral element of artistic practice. The 17th Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia (JMGA) biennial conference, Making OUT is presented in partnership with RMIT University School of Art, the National Gallery of Victoria and Radiant Pavilion.
