Title: | Thermal based sensor for real-time monitoring of cell growth (Abstract ESB Maastricht 2018) | Authors: | BORMANS, Seppe HASELAARS, Anouk LAMBRICHTS, Jeroen OUDEBROUCKX, Gilles THOELEN, Ronald |
Issue Date: | 2018 | Source: | 28th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Biomaterials : ESB 2018 Maastricht, Maastricht, Netherlands, 9-13 Sept 2018 | Abstract: | Monitoring the growth process of cells can be done using various measuring techniques, each with its pros and cons. By combining sensor-heaters with the Heat Transfer Method measurement technique, the growth process can be monitored by looking at the thermal characteristics of the cells. It's a sensitive measuring technique that allows cell growth to be monitored in a real-time manner. | Keywords: | cell growth;HTM;heater;Saccharomyces cerevisiae;real-time | Document URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/1942/31081 | Category: | C2 | Type: | Conference Material |
